Below you will find details of our terms and conditions for the services we offer here at DCAutospares. If you cannot find the information you need or have a specific question, please feel free to contact us and our team will do their best to assist you.
Returns & Refunds:
We hope that you are completely satisfied with your order from DCAutospares but appreciate that there may be a time that a part needs to be returned to us.
We will always try to supply the exact part that our customers require.
Due to the variations in make, model, design and years of manufacture we cannot give any guarantee that any parts are correct for the purpose required.
Our experienced parts sales team will require the vehicle registration number and/or part manufacturer number to ensure that you are ordering the correct part.
All sales are made on a strict understanding that the customer is responsible for supplying the correct vehicle or part information.
If you need to return an item to us simply return the parts in their original condition within 30 days for a refund. We will issue a refund upon receipt and examination of the item.
Items must be returned, wherever possible, in their original packing or other suitably robust packing to prevent any damage along with a completed returns form.

-All goods must be inspected upon delivery before signing to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit.
-Items damaged in transit must be reported to us within 24 hours of receiving and the buyer must email pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org showing the damaged item and original shipping box/packaging. Failure to do so will prevent us from filing a shipping claim.
-If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign, refuse delivery & contact us within 1 working day. This is to ensure that, if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company.
-In the event that the delivery driver does not allow time to inspect the goods sign the Delivery Note to obtain the goods but delete any wording in the signature box to the effect that the goods were ‘Received in good condition’ .
-In the event that a part is supplied as ordered but the customer had ordered incorrectly, we must be contacted immediately, and the part returned to us within 14 working days of purchase at the cost of the customer. Refunds will only be made upon the return of the goods to our premises.
International and UK returns:
Please note if you are returning anything to us from outside the EU (including the UK) you must complete a customs declaration correctly indicating that the package contains "returned goods" or similar. If your parcel is stopped in Irish customs and a charge levied, we will refuse payment and the package will be returned to you. Under no circumstances will we pay customs charges in order to receive our parts back.
Warranty Terms & Conditions:
-All used body panels including lights and door mirrors are supplied with a 12 month warranty.
-All used engines, gearboxes and drivetrain/mechanical parts are subject to a 3 month warranty.
-ECUs and electronic items such as airbag modules, fuse boards, dash clocks and electrical sensors etc are NON REFUNDABLE as a result of potential damage caused by incorrect fitting or other faults in customer vehicles
-All used parts must be fitted within 14 days of purchase.
-If any part supplied by us proves to be faulty during this period, it may be returned for an exchange. If a replacement part cannot be found in a reasonable amount of time, then a full refund of the full purchase price will be given.
-Return postage charges are non-refundable unless your order was faulty, or we supplied the incorrect part. If you have received a faulty or incorrect part, you must first contact our sales team who will issue you with a return postage label or arrange collection of the part for you.
-If you have ordered the wrong part i.e. your part number is different, please return the part including a completed returns form requesting the correct part and a copy of your original invoice. We will do our best to source the correct part, if one is unavailable, we will process a refund on the original order.
-Any part(s) correctly supplied by us is subject to a 30% handling charge if wrongly purchased or simple change of mind. Parts must be returned to us within 14 working days of purchase.
-Replacement parts or refund will only be given with original receipt or invoice.
-Replacement or refund will only be given if the parts are returned to us in the same condition as supplied with the security marks still visible.
-Any part supplied by us that has been dismantled or tampered with in any way will not be refunded. returns are void if you have dismantled or tampered with a part in any way.
-DCAutospares will not reimburse any labour costs/charges involved with fitting removal and/or changing of parts supplied by us under any circumstances.
-We do not hold ourselves responsible if any vehicle is off the road while a part is being brought back for exchange.
-Please note: We strongly recommend that all safety critical parts are fitted only by specifically trained automotive technicians. No liability can be accepted for malfunction, damage or injury caused by incorrect fitting of such components.
Engine and Gearbox Warranty:
Engines and Gearboxes are subject to a 3 month warranty and includes the terms listed above as well as the following:
-Engines & Gearboxes must be correctly fitted with new cam and auxiliary belts, oil, oil filters and spark plugs. We also recommend that on all gearboxes the oil is replaced. Any failure to follow these terms will invalidate this warranty.
-Engines are sold as bare engines less any ancillaries i.e. starter, alternator, air conditioning pump and gearbox. Any ancillary parts supplied with engines such as water pumps, cam belts, fuel injection system etc have not been tested and are provided free of charge. These parts are not covered by any warranty supplied by DCAutospares.
-DCAutospares warranty terms do not cover: Gaskets, Oil Seals, Cam/Timing/Fan Belts or any ancillary parts or damage caused by misuse or improper fitting.
-These terms of business are not intended to restrict your statutory rights or exclude any legal rights bestowed or implied by law.
-“Each undertaking contained in the above clauses shall be construed as a separate undertaking and if anyone or more of such undertakings is held against the public interest or unlawful or in any way an unreasonable restraint of trade or contrary to statute the remaining undertakings shall continue in full force and effect and shall be binding on me/us.
